BSA- SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM – TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. POLICY STATEMENT

1.1. It is the policy of Brazilian Skills Enterprise (BSE) to charge fees for the provision of Skills Training and related services to members of the BSA Skills Program.
1.2. This policy should be communicated to all stakeholders, including parents, guardians, and account holders, and be made available during the orientation period to prospective members.

2. FEE DETERMINATION

2.1. The following are applicable when fees are determined:
2.1.1. Fees at training facilities managed by BSA are determined annually for a period of 12 months (March – February).
2.1.2. Stakeholders should be informed of changes in fees, in writing, at least one month prior to the changes becoming effective.

3. FEE TYPES

3.1. BSA reserves the right to charge fees for the provision of training and other services where applicable.
3.2. BSA reserves the right to amend its fee structures and types as it sees fit, on condition that all such changes will be communicated to all stakeholders at least one month before the amended structure or fees become effective.
3.3. BSA reserves the right to charge the following fees, where applicable:
• Enrolment or registration fees
• Training fees (monthly, quarterly, or annual payments)
• Extra training / Match / Tournament fees / Holiday Clinics
• Kit / Uniform fees (if applicable)
• Re-enrollment fees (for returning members after cancellation)
• Freezing fees (for temporarily pausing membership)
• Resignation fees (charged if a member leaves mid-term)
3.4. Where services in addition to the above are offered at the training facility, BSA reserves the right to charge fees for those services.

4. ENROLMENT OR REGISTRATION FEES

4.1. Annual Registration Fees (Non-refundable):
• Two Days Per Week: R755
• One Day Per Week: R530
• Siblings: R1 245
4.2. Enrolment or registration fees are payable by new members after the application form is submitted and the member is accepted. A member is only eligible to train once this enrolment fee is paid in full.
4.3. Member enrolment is cancelled if enrolment or registration fees have not been paid within seven working days from the date the member is captured on the BSA member management system.
4.4. Enrolment or registration fees paid are non-refundable.
4.5. Re-Enrollment Fees (for returning members after cancellation):
• Two Days Per Week: R455
• One Day Per Week: R319
• Siblings: R750

5. TRAINING FEES

5.1. Debit-order instruction forms should be completed on member enrolment application, and payments should be made through debit order if the monthly payment plan is selected.
5.2. Fees are payable monthly, quarterly, or annually and must be paid in advance.
5.3. Training fees are structured as follows:
5.3.1 Training Fees – Two Days Per Week
• Monthly Payment: R755 (+ Registration Fee R755).
First payment: R1 510 (includes registration fee)
• Quarterly Payment: R2 165.00 (R2 165.00 × 4 quarters = R8 660.00.
• Annual Payment: R8 110.
5.3.2 Training Fees – One Day Per Week
• Monthly Payment: R530 (+ Registration Fee R530)
First payment: R1 060 (includes registration fee)
• Quarterly Payment: R1 515 (R1 515 × 4 quarters = R6 060)
• Annual Payment: R5 680.
5.3.3 Training Fees – Siblings (Two or More Children)
• Monthly Payment: R1 245 (+ Registration Fee R1 245)
First payment: R2 490 (includes registration fee)
• Quarterly Payment: R3 670 (R3 670 × 4 quarters = R14 680)
• Annual Payment: R13 720.
5.4. Additional Fees:
• Freezing Fee (to hold a player’s spot during an approved break):
o Two Days Per Week: R229.
o One Day Per Week: R159.
o Siblings: R379.
5.5. Payment of training fees is not subject to presentation of a statement and is due on the 1st day of each payment cycle.

6. JOINING PROCESS

6.1. Parents/guardians must complete a registration form (online or in person).
6.2. Upon acceptance, the enrolment/registration fee must be paid before training can begin.
6.3. Training officially starts once the first monthly, quarterly, or annual fee payment is received.

7. PAYMENT METHODS

7.1. Subscription-Based Payment System
• Starting March 2025, BSA will transition to an automated subscription system for fee collection.
• All payments from March onward must be processed through this subscription platform. A 2.5% transaction fee is already included in the updated fee structure, ensuring that all payment processing costs are covered. This system is designed to simplify payments, providing members with a hassle-free and secure payment experience.
• Further instructions on how to set up the subscription will be available on the BSA website prior to the transition.
7.2. Alternative Payment Methods
• If a subscription payment is not possible, BSA management may consider an alternative method on specific application.

8. REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

8.1 Non-Refundable Fees
• Enrolment/Registration fees are non-refundable.
• Re-enrollment fees are non-refundable.
8.2 Training Fees & Cancellation Requests
• Monthly Fees: If a parent/guardian decides to cancel during a given month, the full fee for that month remains due and is non-refundable.
• Quarterly & Annual Payments: If a member cancels before the quarter or year ends, no partial refunds will be issued.
8.3 Resignation Fee
• If a player leaves mid-term, a resignation fee equivalent to one month’s training fee applies.
8.4 Absences & Missed Sessions
• If a child misses a session due to illness, travel, or personal reasons, BSA does not offer refunds or make-up classes.

9. PAYMENT COMPLIANCE & ENFORCEMENT POLICY

9.1 Strict Payment Deadlines
• Payments must be made by the due date (1st of the month for monthly plans, the first day of the quarter for quarterly plans, March 1st for annual plans).
9.2 Subscription Transition (March 2025)
• From March 2025, all payments must be made via the automated subscription system.
• EFT payments will no longer be accepted unless an exception is granted by BSA management.
9.3 Non-Compliance Consequences
• If a payment fails in the subscription system, the parent/guardian has seven days to update payment details.
• Failure to update payment details after seven days will result in automatic cancellation of membership.
• A re-enrollment fee will apply if the member wishes to return.

10. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION POLICY

10.1 Data Collection & Usage
• BSA collects and processes personal data of members and their guardians for administrative and communication purposes.
• Personal information is securely stored and used only for relevant program activities, including fee processing, scheduling, and emergency contacts.
10.2 Confidentiality & Security
• BSA implements strict data protection measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse of personal information.
• Member data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
10.3 Communication & Marketing
• BSA may use contact details to provide updates, schedules, and program-related promotions.
• Guardians may opt out of marketing communications at any time by notifying BSA in writing.
10.4 Photography & Media Consent
• BSA may capture photos and videos of participants during training sessions, matches, and events for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, website content, and printed materials.
• By enrolling in BSA programs, guardians acknowledge and consent to the use of their child’s image for these purposes.
• If a guardian wishes to opt out of media usage for their child, they must notify BSA in writing before the commencement of the program.
10.5 Data Retention & Deletion
• Personal data will be retained only as long as necessary for legal and administrative purposes.
• Requests for data deletion or updates should be submitted via email to BSA management.

11. CODE OF CONDUCT & BEHAVIOR POLICY

11.1 General Expectations
• All members, parents, and spectators must conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times.
• Disruptive behavior, foul language, and any form of bullying will not be tolerated.
11.2 Training & Match Conduct
• Players must arrive on time and in proper training gear.
• Respect towards coaches, teammates, and opponents is mandatory.
11.3 Disciplinary Actions
• Any breach of conduct will result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent removal from the program.
• BSA reserves the right to enforce disciplinary measures based on the severity of the misconduct.

12. INDEMNITY & LIABILITY WAIVER

12.1 Assumption of Risk
• By enrolling in the BSA Skills Program, members and guardians acknowledge that participation in sports carries inherent risks of injury.
• BSA and its coaches take every precaution to ensure player safety but cannot guarantee injury prevention.
12.2 Waiver of Liability
• Members and guardians agree not to hold BSA, its management, coaches, or affiliated personnel liable for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during training, matches, or related activities.
12.3 Medical Emergencies
• In case of a medical emergency, BSA reserves the right to seek medical assistance for a member.
• Any medical costs incurred are the responsibility of the guardian.
12.4 Insurance & Coverage
• BSA does not provide personal injury insurance for participants.
• Guardians are encouraged to secure private medical or sports insurance for their children.
